Dear friends of historical oboe instruments!

 

On my new website I would like to introduce you to the diversity of the world of oboes, as they may have presented themselves to composers in different eras in their respective guises. Through my 30 years of collaboration with the Concentus Musicus Vienna under Nikolaus Harnoncourt, more than 10 years with Anima Eterna Bruges and many other ensembles, the challenge of wanting and having to play on well-functioning instruments was given. That's why, as an oboe maker, I have made it my mission to develop individually adapted and well playable oboes based on historical models, not only for myself, but also for others.
